Just in time for hot summer days, two outdoor brands that share a deep connection to the water have teamed up to create a collection of exclusive products. Chaco, the iconic footwear brand founded by a river guide, and United By Blue, an apparel brand committed to cleaning up the country’s waterways, have launched a collaboration that includes board shorts, tee-shirts, a backpack and a hat, as well as Chaco sandals featuring original strap designs inspired by ocean waves.
“We’ve always admired United By Blue for their commitment to cleaning up the oceans and waterways that we all hold dear, as well as their stylish and sustainably-sourced range of products,” said Chaco brand manager Josh Weichhand. “It’s been an honor to work together on both a product collection and a river clean-up that celebrates the DNA of both of our brands.”
United By Blue marketing manager Mike Cangi said, “We’ve been known to wear Chaco’s sandals around the UBB office, so we jumped at the opportunity to collaborate on a custom design. We love that every Chaco product is designed to take you from the water to the land and back again, and the collection we created together is tailored to that lifestyle.”
