At the age of 26, Georgia Simmerling had already competed in two different sports in two Winter Olympic Games. After a season ending injury in 2015, Georgia traded her skis for a track bike and dedicated herself to a shot at competing in the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio. Georgia is a two time Olympian, five time Ski Cross World Cup medalist, two time Endurance Track Cycling World Cup medalist, and a dedicated advocate of healthy lifestyle choices in the Vancouver community. She is now on pace to become the first Canadian athlete to compete in three different Olympic sports in three consecutive games. This is her story of grit, determination and a goal to make history.
