YETI, known for premium coolers and gear, is now taking on fire pits. It’s expensive. It’s heavy. But it’s built tough, and what else would you expect from YETI. Learn more at YETI.com or keep reading below.
YETI Fire Pit
The YETI Fire Pit is all about being rugged and tough. At 70 pounds, it’s made of solid corten steel, which is designed to weather and form a protective surface over time. This pit isn’t trying to be high-tech or smokeless. It’s a straightforward, heavy-duty pan shaped fire pit that puts durability and rustic looks first. The price is steep at $1,000, but you get the pit itself, a stoking iron, and a lid that keeps things covered when you’re done. Okay, not sure that justifies the cost.
Compared to the competition, YETI’s pit is much pricier than the Solo Stove but about $400 less than the premium Breo X30. Its shallow design promises strong heat for those sitting close by, though it might also mean more smoke. Only long-term use will show if the tradeoff is worth it.
YETI Fire Pit Grill Kit
YETI also sells a Grill Kit for $500 that turns the fire pit into a cooking station. It comes with two grates: one smaller grate with adjustable height, and one larger grate that sits above the fire for direct flame cooking. Both are made from hardened carbon steel to handle years of heat and food.
The kit is big and heavy, but it matches the fire pit’s tough build. It’s not meant for quick or casual use — it’s for people who want a permanent, reliable outdoor campfire cooking setup.
YETI Ranch Pan
On top of that, YETI offers the Ranch Pan for $375. It’s a deep cast-iron pan designed designed for large groups. While it’s solid and well-made, it doesn’t come with a lid, so it can’t be used like a Dutch oven. That limits its versatility, especially given the high price. There are a lot of other options out there such as Lodge and Smithey Cast Iron.
Final Take
YETI has entered the fire pit and cooking market with products that are bold, heavy, and expensive. They’re designed to last for years and appeal to people who want high-end gear that looks and feels rugged. The question is whether the performance will truly match the price.
