Nathalie Schneitter conquers one of the toughest routes in the Alps, the Glacier Bike Express. While the Glacier Bike Express route is designed for touring e-bikes, Nathalie Schneitter’s project proves that the route can also be ridden on a gravel bike. The reigning E-MTB world champion spends many hours on her gravel bike in her free time and has found more and more pleasure in ultra-distances in recent months. So why not ride the route in one go? Without a break. But with the anticipation of the view of the Matterhorn.
The Glacier Bike Express Route
The Glacier Bike Tour leads in 10 stages, 370 kilometers, and 9500 meters in altitude through 3 cantons. Always along the picturesque railway route of the Glacier Express, the route starts in St. Moritz, first over the Albula Pass, before two more high-caliber passes await with the Oberalp Pass and the Furka Pass.
