Compact, strong, lightweight, and very effective at removing snow and sand, the DMOS Stealth Shovel is a necessity for those who venture into softer terrains such as snow and sand. Although small, it performs above its weight and size with an unrivaled design and build. As part of the DMOS family, which includes shovels like the Delta and the Nomad, which are designed for the most rugged off-road and overlanding adventures, the design, build, and materials are all very similar.
Living in the snow belt with trips often to snowbound Michigan and New York, I always try to be prepared for the worst weather or that unexpected mishap that leaves you needing recovery gear. Aside from owning four-wheel drive vehicles exclusively, there are some additional measures we can take when the winter season hits. Of course items like gloves, hat, jacket, sleeping bag are all the winter packing list, additions are made like the DMOS Stealth shovel along with a few others.
Size Does Matter!
Size does matter! The DMOS Stealth is the smallest shovel in their lineup. If I was using this shovel every day, it wouldn’t fly, I would go for one of the XL models. But, the steath is not designed for that. It is designed tp throw in the trunk or even under some seats and not take up a lot of room. A shovel that could fit under a vehicle and remove snow effectively in an emergency. It is not plastic and will not break.
Collapsible down to 18 x 9 x 2.25” it will not take up a lot of room! The Stealth can also fit in a backpack, on a snowmobile, or on one of their custom-fitted mounts. In the DMOS lineup of shovels, the Stealth is the smallest and most compact. Below is a chart showing all available models.
