Running and outdoor-sock brand launches the Injinji Everyday Upcycled Collection, a lifestyle sock line with a commitment to sustainability.
Injinji®, the innovator of the patented five-toe- Performance Toesock™ for runners and outdoor enthusiasts, announces the launch of its newest addition to the Injinji Everyday line with the Everyday Upcycled collection. Available for purchase on injinji.com, the new, limited-edition collection incorporates sustainable design, an upcycled fabric blend, and the supreme sock engineering technology that Injinji is known for.

The new Injinji Upcycled Cotton collection are offered in two styles and colors.
The Material and the Process
ach sock is constructed of a unique fiber blend called Recover® Blue, which is constructed of upcycled cotton fibersand recycled polyester that is sourced from post-consumer rPET (recycled polyethylene terephthalate) bottles. The rPET used in the new collection is obtained by melting down post-consumer plastic bottles and re-spinning it into new polyester fiber.
The Recover® Upcycled Cotton fibers in each sock use textile waste as a raw material resource, diverting it from landfill and incineration, and reincorporates the material back into the construction of each sock. The Recover® Blue fiber blend is third-party certified and measured by its environmental impact to determine the true quality of the product. In being less dependent on virgin materials, using Recover® in the new Everyday Upcycled collection offers low-impact manufacturing processes that reduce carbon emissions, save energy, reduce water and land use, and set a new industry standard.
