The SRAM Rival 1 crankset is made of forged aluminum with a detachable spider and can handle chainrings from 38T to 50T.

No that is not a spoke protector. It is an 11-36 cassette in the rear. What the crank lacks in small chainrings, the 36T cassette makes up for it. So far we can climb any gravel road or double track we can find.

The Rival 1 rear derailleur is the only derailleur present and does works like a champ.

Beautiful welds, more Mango Orange from Chris King and an unwanted cable pulley. FYI this is not a hair on your screen. The office dog is in full shed mode.

From a few feet away the Zipp Service Course 30 wheels are often mistaken for carbon. The aluminum, thru axle tubeless clinchers performed so well I am not sure I would upgrade them to carbon.
