Moots Womble Specs
The Womble boasts an all new and proprietary double butted top and down tube featuring the largest diameters they’ve ever built in order to create the stiffest and strongest front end possible. This gives strength to stretch the front center measurement and mate to 140mm travel fork, just to add a bit more reach. The Womble is a 1x specific frame and available in two spec options, mechanical and wireless for SRAM AXS.
Two builds have been selected that best compliment the Womble. The first with full wireless SRAM AXS 1×12 with wireless AXS dropper for a clean and cable free setup. The second build is with Shimano’s value/performance monster XT 8100 1×12 gruppo. Both builds are anchored with the Rock Shox Pike Ultimate 140 with 42mm offset, designed to offer the stiffest and best tracking suspension.
Behind the Name – Womble
MOOTS has been building bikes for almost 40 years at Moots and mountain bikes have been at the heart of what they have done from the outset. The launch of their newest mountain bike, the Womble, is a tribute to the kind of riding the Team at Moots love. Built as a cross country bike for both fun and long days in the saddle, they named this bike after the iconic Womble trail in Mt. Ida, Arkansas.
